The film focuses on the true events of Nevenka Fernández, a young woman in 1990s Spain who courageously denounced sexual harassment by her employer.
I admire this movie
It is the true story of Nevenka, who was on stage at the premiere at the London Film Festival, and whom we applaud for the courage it took for her to take her destiny in hand, during this difficult ordeal in the 1990s.
Her value is perceived only for the usefulness she can bring to them: as a scapegoat, a ghost writer, a lover of trophies
Young Nevenka has the open-mindedness, seriousness and honesty of youth; she is capable, intelligent and hard-working, but she evolves in a world run by men, for men.
It is not so surprising that the exploitation of her qualities soon becomes sexual
It is a poignant but tense and superbly described film, and for those, like me, who were alive at the time, a frightening mirror reflecting our past lives, from which we can only recoil and shudder with shame.
